OHM Energy were commissioned to install a new Froling P4 32 Pellet Boiler and a 5 tonne pellet silo. The biomass installation is expected to earn over £60,000 on the RHI over the next seven years.
The new system was installed to provide 100% of both heating and domestic hot water and provides 63,122 kwh energy.
The figures are based on a typical heating season with an average room temperature of 21 degrees centigrade and a boiler efficiency of 90%. An oil boiler based on this would cost £4,513.21 and an LPG system would cost £5,207.55.
