Kings Hill Parish Council has taken a forward-thinking step for both the environment and the local residents by partnering with OHM Energy to install a bespoke solar energy system at their community site in Kent.

As a vital part of local governance, parish councils like Kings Hill play a key role in shaping sustainable futures at the grassroots level. This project proves that even at the parish level, meaningful climate action is possible and impactful.

System Details

• 56 high-efficiency 450W mono solar panels
• Tigo optimisers for maximum output in variable conditions
• An Alpha Storion H30 commercial battery to store excess energy, increase self-reliance, and reduce grid dependence

With this system, Kings Hill Parish Council is expected to see long-term cost savings, reduced carbon emissions, and greater energy resilience—benefits that extend to local residents and set a strong example for neighbouring councils across the south east.
