OHM Energy Sussex

OHM Energy part of MCS’s battery storage working group

With energy costs rising and climate change affecting us all, low carbon technology like battery storage has a growing role in the future of UK energy.

OHM Energy was asked to be part of the MCS Battery Storage Industry Working group due to our extensive experience of the technology. However, as you know we aren’t just a design and installation company. It has always been about more for us. We are also pioneering advocates of accelerating the industry and the nation’s move towards net zero.

The Microgeneration Certification Scheme Service Company Ltd (MCSSCo Ltd) trades as MCS and is wholly owned by the non-profit MCS Charitable Foundation.

MCS certification is a mark of quality. Membership of MCS demonstrates adherence to these recognised industry standards; highlighting quality, competency and compliance. The vision is to see MCS certified small-scaled renewable energy products and installations in every UK home and community.

The working group and its expert members ensure the highest of standards, by – amongst other work – committing to developing and maintaining documents for battery technology, conducting  technical reviews of issues, and reviewing industry developments and their possible impact.

It’s our privilege to improve standards and give you the confidence to invest in battery storage.
